Lewis Blackwell, Mobius Awards judge and author of “The End of Print” and “Photowisdom: Master Photographers on Their Art,” has a new gig. According to British Journal of Photography on Sept. 8, Blackwell, a former executive at Getty Images, is now director of strategy at Image Source, the royalty-free stock provider.
Blackwell, a former executive at Getty Images, had this to say about his connection to Image Source:
“I met Christina Vaughan (founder and CEO of Image Source) on a panel discussion about ‘the value of an image’ that Marco Oonk invited us on to at the BAPLA fair in May. We found we had a lot in common in ideas about how both images can be valued, and how media might develop. She invited me to come and work with her to put some of the talk into practice.”
