Notes from Lee Gluckman on the road

Busy days in Shanghai. Since arriving July 6, I’ve been in meetings. First, I was at Touch Media where I presented a Mobius statuette for their 2011 work for Hugo Boss, and then on to Ogilvy for meetings with creatives, PR group, and senior management staff, followed by more meetings at AEIOU.
Dinner with Focus Media and then a few hours sleep before starting again on Friday with Allyes and then back to AEIOU to set up for the evening’s Mobius Sharing Event. It was a huge success thanks to the hard work by the staff of Global Brand Strategy magazine and not to forget Rachel’s outstanding support from Ogilvy PR.
The event attracted a huge crowd of creatives, along with comments about winning work from the Shanghai creatives. BTW, we started off the evening with a one-hour Twitter press conference that continued throughout the evening’s presentations. It was coordinated by Kevin & Jacky from Ignite. Way to go, everyone! And a special Thank You to Tony Liu and his partner for sponsoring the event in their offices at AEIOU.
Great team, great offices, great drink and food!
